Picked up a set of stock wheels over the weekend
Bought from a member of the email list for $100 with SO-2's on them. I'd say there's about 4K miles left in them, not a bad deal for $100. I ran an autox on them sunday, and oh my god what a difference from the all season tires that were on the car when I got it. I was easily 1.5s quicker on these tires. I can't wait to graduate to Victoracers now.
Shot when I got them home Saturday night. I ordered some black wheel paint and some clear coat for them too, not gonna bother powerder coating them since I paid so little. They'll make great track/autox wheels I think.

Thanks for the info.

Yeah, supposedly most of the '94-'95 stockers were reinforced, but even then it's a crap shoot. There have also been some reports of the reinforced wheels on '93's... who knows...

Well, these wheels have 92 stamped on them so I'm guessing that more than likely they are not reinforced. I'll make sure to inspect them regularly after hard use.
Just finished putting them back on the car, tires still need some blackening..

Close up:
They came out ok I guess, if they were going to be my street wheels I'd have taken a little more time to do the masking, but hey, I'm not too concerned with how they look.

took some pics outside. I definately like the silver wheels better on the car, but these aren't too bad. The pictures don't look as good as it does in person for some reason, could be my shitty camera

Thanks for the picture. I'm positive that both my sets of wheels are not reinforced after looking at that. They both look like the wheel on the left.
Well now I know, "and knowing is half the battle"
