Will 4 lug pattern wheels for 86-88 fit 1st gen GSL-SE?

My question is whether a 4 lug pattern wheel for a 86-88 2nd gen fit a 1st gen GSL-SE? I know they won't fit other 1st gens.... and I know that most of the 2nd gens were 5 lug... but are the 4 lugs the same pattern?

There is

4x110, non SE model First Gen.

4x114.3 GSL-SE and FC SE.

5x114.3 thereafter

Hope that helps,

Rishie

ARD T2... You are sure about the spacing info you mentioned? I'm only asking so I don't make a mistake. I own an '83 GSL but recently found the frame is bent slightly, but repairable. I have an opportunity to pickup a 84 GSL-SE and/or an 85 GSL-SE for less than it would cost to repair my 83 GSL.

So far I have found the following advantages of the GSL-SE over the GSL....
1) The GSL-SE has power steering the GSL does not
2) The GSL-SE has the fuel injected 13B, the GSL does not

I have had a devil of a time finding rims for the GSL, but if your information is correct there are many more options for the GSL-SE. Any toher advantages anyone out there may know of???

The GSL-SE with the 13B is a 4x114.3 which will match any OE FC 4 lug boltpattern. Since you are 83 you have the 110 pcd. Get the SE models, rims will be a lot easier to find.
