If you aren't going to pull them off the car, then you just mask the area around the calipers with news paper and spray away.

Where do you suggest to buy the paint? any particular brand better than another? What about the paint they sell on the tire rack site?

I like to pull them off the car, that way you can really clean them well. I use a wire-wheel drill bit, and go all over until they look like you have polished them. I have used high-temp engine enamel with great success. Here is a quick pic of my FCs calipers:

I paint mine w/ Plastikote Caliper Paint from PepBoys - it stands up to brake fluid better than Engine enamel

Did you have to remove the pistons and dust boots?

Nope. I covered the opening on the backside of the caliper and sprayed away.

Just find/use some hi-temp engine enamel. I'm sure that's available somewhere local to you.
