Opinion on Wheels

What do you guys think of this wheel? I already ordered it, so it doesn't really matter, just wondering if everyone liked it as much as I did. 18x9 offset 40 21 LBS.

Just watch the allen screws. They are probably just plastic and glued into small holes (for looks). They can be lost. The wheels look nice.

Most sellers and even manufacturers of wheels either don't have a clue as to how much they weigh, or have no problem lying about it to make a sale. ScuderiaCiriani.com has some interesting info about Steve's wheel search and the variety of info he got wrt wheel weight, even from "serious" wheel makers. Buyer beware.

Be sure to weigh them when you get them to see how close the estimates are.

From my experience, "salesmen" look at the only weight they have available .... shipping weight ..... which is 25-30 lbs for practically every wheel.

I ordered from DiscountTireDirect online and they had no data on these wheels weight. So the guy called the warehouse and had someone weight one, as I refused to buy until I knew the weight. They told me 21 LBS. When I got them, I weighed them myself and they are 21.7 LBS. Pretty damn close. They are 18x9. And they were I think around $270 a wheel.
