OK tire guys quick ?
OK tire guys quick ?
I am getting Work vs-ss rims 18x8.5 +38 (F) 18x10 +45 (R)
Front will be 245 35 18, a fairly easy tire to find by a good brand.
Now my rear problem, 275 30 18 is what i was looking for but can not find any at all in that size, especially not any good brands. So what would be best, a 265 or 275 35 18. or can i go with a 285 30 18? Jimlabs microsoft excel states a 275, thats why i was looking for that first. i dont have excel though, just the viewer so i cant plug and play with the specs. appreciate any help

First of all, +38 is a low offset for a 8.5" wheel up front. You may have to roll your fenders if you are lowered. Proper tire size is either 235/40 or 245/35.
For the rears, you could run 265/35, 275/35, or 285/30. A 285/30 will be pretty close to your fender lips but you should be ok.

Well, if you can get higher offsets, you should. +45 would be a much better offset for the fronts, rears are ok but closer to +50 would also be better if available.
Basically, you want as close to +50 as possible, especially with a lowered car.
EDIT: I just looked up that wheel and saw you can get the 8.5 in a +45 offset in the standard disk. I'm not sure if a standard disk would clear the front brake calipers or not (where a Work dealer comes in), but that's a better fitment.
Actually, for up front, I would go with 18x9, hi-disk, +47 offset. That's a great fitment with 255/35 18.

Who are you ordering these from? Why don't you give Rishie at Auto RnD a call, they are a big Works dealer and they'll know what works (no pun intended) on an FD. They also typically give good pricing for rx7 forum members. The dealer should be doing the work for you, although it's always nice to be as knowledgable as possible to make sure you are getting what you want.
