hell no. Coilovers allow for additional backspacing. The lower the offset the more frontspacing you'll need. Coilovers will have no bearing there.

FYI, the offset is too low. You want a +37 to +45 or +50.

Question

Ok, why is it that Rx7 Forum members buy (expensive) wheels WITHOUT consulting a dealer what the proper offset is for their car's application It's the wheel dealer's responsibility for fitting your wheels PROPERLY.

I guess Rishie's Automotive R&D is the only shop that knows what the proper fitments are supposed to be for any given vehicle!!!???

I don't know...someone help me understand what's with all these offset questions??

Well it seems you're considering the purchase, poweraxel...

To answer your question--No, and I doubt they will fit, but you can trial fit the wheels, and see for yourself...then you could clue us all in

Before purchasing from Rishie, i consulted with reps at Fikse and all they could offer was there standard fitting of 8.5in w/225 up front and 10in w/285 in rear. i didn't want to go with the 8.5 up front with 225s...too much of a difference between front and rear. So they told me to go out and take measurements myself and give them the info and they'll determine the offsets etc...i just wasn't comfortable doing that myself or wanted to be stuck with expensive wheels that don't fit...so Rishie helped me out. He's more knowledgeable than those guys at Fikse...and i'd rather give Rishie my business anyway.

Toy,

Yes, Fikse really doesn't know anything about our cars...it's really up to the Fikse DEALER network to determine the proper wheel sizes for their customers. Rishie is a Fikse dealer, so he IS knowledgeable when it comes to wheel/tire sizing for the Rx7s, and helping the prospective customer choose the right Fikse wheel for the customer's intended application...

YEah, Fiske builds based on their dealer's backspacing and frontspacing measurements. Then come up with their most common and "standard" fitment. They don't want to be liable for anything other than that.

Much rather have the dealer be the liable one. hehe.
