it's a different kind of nervous though. Trust me, when i can buy overfenders, i WILL be going with a 225 all the way around. This was a money/clearance issue and it worked out. I'm curious as to where the grip limits up front are but i guess i'll find out soon.

I DO NOT recommend this tire/wheel setup at all for your average car.

This isn't your average car.
Well I agree it definately isnt average..

With that setup the grip limit will be low I can assure you.

Wait until you see proper pics of the takata CE's, if they end up staying on the 8 lol

LargeOrangeFont: I don't think NoPistons! is going for a grip setup at all, his tires sizes are only to make the wheels fit. The fact that he lists r888 and rt615's in the same category does say volumes though...

NoPistons!: You're doing the whole stretched fitment thing and it'll look really good rolling with your ride height. Don't try to kid yourself that you'll have any considerable grip with this style of fitment though.

Front 17x8 +28, Rear 17x9 +29. No spacers, on BC N-06 Coilovers. Front fenders needed small roll.

You should be fine with a bit of a fender roll, maybe even a bit of a pull if need be.

Uh, well, I'm running 17x10 +12 in the REAR. I've posted two picks above that shows fitment. I've only flared the rear wheel arches.

For the front, I'm running 17x9 +15 in the FRONT. I have Cork Sport overfenders that I've modified a bit...

Best pic for now....

New setup looks spot on! Gonna paint em?

Hella concave is the new mega dish.
I didn't sadly, it was stupid close though, like the locking collar had to be turned to the right bit so the wheel cleared.

The wheels on Page 179 are a temporary measure. They are Origin DNA02. They don't look right in white against the FC but I've kept them white as they are used on my Silvia drift car.

New rear wheels went on without too much bother -

Fronts - Origin DNA02 - 17x9.5 +15 - 225/45
Rears - SSR Professor SP1 - 18x11j +16 - 255/35

Front SSR should be on in a couple of weeks - 17x9 +14 - 215/40. 9.5s are a bit too big for the front of an FC I think.

I think I can lower the car 15mm all around once the new fronts are on. COOL.

ill have pics up of my new setup:

17x10.5 -13 Rear

17x9 +0 front

i also have 17x8 +25 front

havent decided on which front setup to run, i like being able to turn without issue, and having a good fitment up front with the 17x8 +25 , but the more aggressive 17x9 +0 looks sick, and will require a roll, and maybe a slight pull on the fenders.

ill have pics up of both front fitment's soon.

rear teaser:
(as you can see, my 1/4's are pulled 1" to keep the lip flush with the body when finished)
