Maybe. If you do it will be very little. I run the same tire on a 17X9 +24 and needed to roll the fenders. Unless you are really low, you should be ok without one.

I'm on 17x9 +22 and with 245's I had to get 25mm wider front fenders. I didn't think it was even close, how much rolling did you do?

I have 17X9 +24 wheels now with 235/40/17 tires. I have room for 255/40/17. I did a very light fender roll with a baseball bat. It took about 30 seconds per side. With regular struts RB springs and no camber it rubbed the inner fender liner over large bumps.

I then installed coilovers and run negative camber and have no rubbing at all.

MB battles 17x9.5 +15 max low stretch camber aero

Does the car you are buying have extended tie rods and is it running hella camber? If not, you wasted a post.

Now: Eat it.

Lca clearance at full lock.

A +22 with 3ish degrees of camber WILL rub the **** out of your spring if it fits at all. I hope you like ZERO or POSITIVE camber.....

I'm laying bn aero ON THE GROUND right now with a 205-40-17 stretched on a 17x9.5 +15 front with my collars flipped at max low.

With my pull, i'm going with a 25mm spacer in the rear effectifly making this a 17x9.5 -10 and i'm also planning to pick up 205-40-17's for those as well.

Yeah, I need different rear coils now.

+15 Probably -0.5* camber.

This setup would fit with just a rear roll, maybe a slight pull and a decent tire stretch. No, i got happy and pulled the living **** out of my 1/4's.... 25mm spacer and the 205-40's should get it right. I'll finish off the pull when i get my rear tires mounted and my spacers get here. More pics soon.

Feel free to talk **** about my unpainted aero, stretched tires, primmer, rusty coils.... Whatever. I expect it out of rx7club members.....

I tagged my post. That way it should help someone. Some of you are far too useless to merit being on this forum. "stretched tires and body kits and ******* up your suspension geometry is useless" There, i beat you to it. Eat my ***....

Ah, and when you say 17x9.5+22 on an fc, with zero or positive camber, you'd have to SLOT your lower mounts or knuckles to get that to fit. There is seriously only 5mm or less between my spring and rim lip. I had to take my wheels off when i got tires mounted in order to wind my coils down. The collar wouldn't clear the wheel.

Thats 17x9.5 +22 front, 17x9.5 +6 rear, some negative camber, handles nicely anyway. The car is a daily/weekend fun car so I'm retaining drivability.

Front is stupid close to the collar, so close that the collar has to be in the right place for it to clear.

Im currently Saving for my Set up. Going With Mag Watanabe's 16x8 +15 Fronts 16x8 +5 Rear.
215/45/16 F 225/50/16 R > Fender rolling im sure in the front and maybe in the rear. Ive seen My freinds Fc with Fd rims and a 25mm spacer. He had no roll and its looked good.
I believe on trail and error. I Will make these fit, weather rolling, pulling, playing with camber, spacers, whatever is required. Ive seen more aggresive fitmets, Best thing of all... rims only weigh 12 pounds!

Jord, did you have any pics of spring clearance for your old setup?

Otherwise, it's just "i think these were my offsets..."

New setup looks spot on! Gonna paint em?

I'm trying to get a 17x9.5 +15 to fit in it's place without running the inside rim lip into the lower control arm..... I think i might get a 10mil up front. I've seen people fit 17x9 0 offest but wasn't sure about the lca clearance with an angle kit.
did you have any problems with the 16x8 0's at all? I was looking at a set of rims that size, and my buddy kept telling me they wont fit.. ive been reading this thread for an hour and never thought to read the last page.

I was hoping to massage my 10.5 +18's up front on my fc now that the motor went on my 8 but it looks like that won't be happening any time soon, now that I see the inner clearance issues! It would take roughly a 20mm spacer which would look silly What a shame...

Ya typically a 9.0 or 9.5 +15 is the max backspacing with coilovers in my experience. This can also vary with the diameter of the wheel. That means 10.5 -3 to +3 should work like you said 20mm spacer.

Man, a friend of mine is selling some green rotas and I'm so tempted but ahh, I'd feel dumb rocking them when I've got the real deal at home. So frustrating!

IMHO those Kais would look better. I've always been a fan of one piece racing wheels though, hence my opinion.

Well, it looks like I'm just going to say screw it and pick up some wide fenders and fit the 18x10.5 +18 CE's.

Currently, it looks like I'm going to snag some 20mm and go from there. I'm excited to see this happen :
