Ok, Im never happy with a tire/wheel setup.
Im waiting for my wheels to get here. Weld Magnum 2.0 Drags, 15x9 with 25mm of offset. Tires will be 275/50 (26x11.5 ET Streets). Ive sat out side and measured again and again. And now I need a 100% sure fire answer. I know somebody on this bloody forum knows, or is running a bigger tire then this with stock fenders. Im running Hipermax Drag coilovers.
Can I run a 28" tire? Or a 295mm. Or both?
Is it possible to pull out these stock fenders enough to clear a 12.5" wide tire out back?
Can I hammer the **** out of the inner wheel well to clear a 28" tire?
I know it sounds stupid to jump from a 26x11.5 to a 28x12.5.
But the extra sidewall and/or extra width will REALLY help me out.
The M/T website say for the ET Streets:
26x11.5 - 12" sidewall width, 9.8" tread width, and are 26.3 inches tall
28x11.5 - 11.1 " sidewall width, 8.6" tread width, and are 27.6 inches tall
28x12.5 - 12.6" sidewall width, 10" tread width, and are 28.1 inches tall

Id run a 15x9 for the 11.5's, and a 15x10 on the 12.5
Ive been told that the 26x11.5 setup would work on my current wheels Im getting (unless I can fit a bigger tire, then the wheels will go back, and Ill order new ones.)
If its to to the point that I clear my suspension by like nothing, thats fine, I just need the room to clear up and down on the launches, and when the tire stretches at high speeds.
Its such a pain in the *** to figure this out! I dont know anybody with extra wheels and tires this size and with the right offsets to mount on the car.
Building a drag car is a pain in the ***. But Its gonna be hella cool!

Seriously, you will be fine with 26 x 11.5. If you need more traction, go with a 26 x 10.5 ET Drag pure slick.

I don't think I've ever seen anyone around run a 28" tire on the rear end of an FC.

I just got my t2 rims just wanted to know what is the biggest size i can run in the rear and the biggest size i can run on the front. I don't want something to massive I just want something that will have some beef to it. I am planning on buying some toyo proxies for everyday driving.

Yeah, the ET drags are a hoot. Im sure I could stick on even a 8.5" ET drag.
they stick like glue. But I dunno. I love my ET streets, Id just like to get the biggest I can fit. lol
I know a couple guys running 28x12.5's on tubbed FC's/ With plenty of room to spare.

that's not with an FC rear end though. IRS changes everything, you gain camber when it squats, and you aren't able to adjust where the wheel sits in the well. If you're dead set on doing it, just do it and see if it works, and then let us know.

Found a 28x11.5 ET street. Just the tire, no wheel. lol. Jack the 7 up and tried a test it. the fenders on this car arent rolled yet. Id need to hammer the week well out a bit. Or just cut bits out to help clear, then weld in new plates, since the cage is in, I cant just have it mini tubbed. Then remove the exhaust heat shields. And find different trailing arms. The tire hit the trailing arm before it hit the coilovers. Any opinions on different trailing arms that wont give me clearance issues?

Finally got my 5zigen FN01R-C's!!! I'm looking for some nice fitting wheel locks like RAD German wheel locks. They have a 50mm (1.94 inch) shank. Will that fit?

Here's the link

http://www.amazon.com/German-Wheel-L.../dp/B001EMCVO6

Thanks,
~Ant

Might just send the car to my fabricator, and have the wheel tubs cut out, and raised as much as possible, then sell my coilovers, and have them fab up a good custom setup. And have my fender lips ground down a bit so theres no issue with rubbing. He said without a doubt, he could get a 275/60 under there. And a 295/55 if pulled the mount over a few millimeters on the shock towers.
This could turn into a messy project. lol

Can anybody recommend a good wheel spacer to buy. I need at least a 10mm but would like something in maybe 13mm. I searched the internet but it seems to be a cluster F*** of crap.

Looks to be my only option. And yes I know about the studs needing to be longer. Thanks.

the front of the rear control arm has a long eccentric bolt in it. turn the bolt to move the control arm fore/aft, thereby adjusting toe.

Front: 18x9 +48 offset 1.5in lip
Rear: 18x9.5 +49 offset, 3in lip

Will these fit the fc and what size tires should I use if so?

Not without spacers. Probably 25mm all around.

I have read about 50 pages, and my question hasnt been answered, well all of it anyways, would his combo work;

17x8.5 +32, ideally would like to run 235s up front and
18x9.5 +25, ideally would like to run 285 or 275, think this combo would work with out spacers? If not suggestions?

I don't think the 17x8.5 would fit, maybe run a +25 all around?

The best example of 18's on an fc is deltron on TeamFC3S, I think they were 8" and 9", +25 all around, fit perfectly with stock suspension and fenders. Look it up
