Anyone suggest what tires to stretch if I want to run a 17x9 +25 in the front? Any photos of members with this up front? Any problems with clearance or anything with KYB AGX's and springs?

I would look through all 100 pages, but I figured it would be better if I just asked....
How would stock s2000 wheels fit on an 87 FC? Keep in mind I run extended wheel studs.
I also run ISC coilovers which are a little wider than factory struts. Currently running stock vert wheels with 1/2 spacers to clear in the front.
Thanks!
Vincent

Thanks alot K!NCH I went ahead and ordered the 5mm before I got to read this, just to be on the safe side. Anyways what studs should I buy? I don't think I will need them, but I rather be on the safe side.

Hey,
I just read through the first 30, and last 10 pages of this thread, and I gotta say it's helped a bunch. I had no idea what I should be looking for when shopping for rims and tires, but this thread helped me figure it out.
Here's what I'm thinking of running:
Front: 17x7 35mm offset - tires would be 225, but not sure of the series - 40 maybe?
Rear: 17x8 27-28 mm offset - tires would be 255, but again not sure of the series - 30-35 maybe?
Suspension will be Koni Yellows with RB 1" lowering springs
I haven't narrowed down what rims I want yet - would have loved to get my hands on WedsSport SA-90 in Bronze, but they're discontinued http://www.tirerack.com/wheels/Wheel...All&sort=Brand
Also, where do you guys shop for rims? I've tried tirerack, discounttires, and quite a few others, but doesn't seem they carry anything wider than 7" in a 17" rim.
Thanks

If you could find out what studs i need, that would be great, I don't want aftermarket ones however, because there too long to put my wheel locks on. By the way, thanks for all the help.

I did put the BOSS MOTORSPORTS 308 on the vert. I was afraid of the 35mm and the 6" inch backspacing. I am running 215/40/17 all the way around. I will eventually get 225/40/17 on back.

offset?
Ok, so I have always known what offset was but never how to properly measure it or what units it is commonly measured in. Can someone educate me?
Someone gave me a set of rims (yes, gave me...don't ask) that will look good on my 88 N/A FC, but I am concerned about the offset because they came off a Honda (obviously front wheel dive, hence the concern). They are 18x7.5. What kind of offset should I be looking for? I don't race the car. It's just my toy/project/fun car. I do drive it kinda hard sometimes though.
Thanks

F**K THE SYSTEM!!
I need to know what the biggest tire i can fit on the front with stock fenders(only the inside lip of the fenders has been banged flush) and jic coilovers.
How can i get the biggest tire in up front even if i have to find some 16" wheels that are 7.5 - 8" wide.
