16" drag radials?

I was just wondering if a company sells 16" drag radials that will fit my stock TII rims (16x7). Thanks.

Nitto sells 225/50/16 which will fit. Discount tire has them on sale right now for $65 each shipped. Awesome deal. I bought 4 for myself.

If you want real drag slicks, get a set of Hoosiers www.hoosiertire.com Two drag tires will easily fit inside your T2. When you get to the strip, just swap them out, and kick everyone's butt! Tires are everthing, whether road racing, autocrossing, or drag racing, Hoosier Racing Tires are the best, hands down...

Uhhh...Nittos? I wouldn't waste my money on them.

You know what to do, so just get the Hoosier drag slicks!

You just like hoosiers cuz ur from Indiana No but Nittos are known to be good tires, do you have experience with them? Any way it goes, I ordered them and they have to be 200x better than the tires I have and are pretty cheap.

Actually I grew up in Ohio

You got me, I don't have actual experience with Nittos, as I've never wanted to spend my money on any Nitto products (they're not really good enough for an FD, and I've never been a big fan of Adam Saruwatari, nor his FD drag car)

I DO have experience with Hoosier Racing Tires, specifically the R3S03 road race tire, and I can say the Hoosier R3S03s are the sh*t!

Everyone that I know that drag races all ride on Goodyear tires. They all say that Hoosiers are not nearly as good. For DOT Drag Radials I have heard that the BFG's are the best and then the Nitto 555R's. The BFG's won't fit the stock rims though. They are only available in the 255/50/16 size which is kinda large for a stock rim.

For the money the Nitto DR 225/16's can't be beat ($65 each).

However the 245/50/16 Nitto DR fits out back also. I have cut a few 1.71 60ft times with them. $138 each?

I also have a set of Mickey Thompson slicks 26x8.5" and have cut only a 1.70 60ft time on them. Granted I have only made one pass on the slicks.... but the Nittos do hook well.

16-18psi tire pressure on the Nittos.... and they like a huge smokey burnout!
