If these are the wheels, they are pretty nice looking.

What did the whole package cost/ what kumho tire will you be running? I cant decide between those, the classics, or fm/10's. Hopefully your pics will help me decide. Thanks Mike

anthony - yup those are them

7racer - thanks i will defnitely post pics. john said he want pics too because this is the first set of 18s hes made!

Mdessouki - the tires were Kumho ECSTA V710 and they were like 265 each so like 1040 for tires and john gave me a price break because i originally wanted the three piece classic style ones so he met me in the middle of pricing and the wheels cost like 2300 pics will be up next weekend cuz i wont see the car until friday or saturday.

what is the weight of the one piece 18x10?

My 18x10.5" 3 piece CCW with titanium bolts and lightweight centers are around 19lbs 6 ounces.

Those look sharp and certainly will be nice on your FD. Congrats!

I was going to say you would be lucky to get 1k miles out of those 710s.

Those look sharp. Nothing like the right set of wheels to really make the FD turn heads .

They do look cool... John's gotta get some more finishes besides full polish though. I had polished Fikse's for about four months... never again.

Due to the amount of upkeep on them? Or did they easily scratch? Or a combination of both? My money levels keep me in the Volk Racing area, never had enough to afford Fikse or Kinesis.

The upkeep. After the third time in four or five months of ownership that I spend hours crawling around on my knees polishing the lips to keep them looking good, I said screw them and sold them and bought BBS. They wipe off with a cloth.

I'd still get Fikse's mind you, but they'd be one of the annodized or painted finishes... lips and all.

.
Thats too bad. I was in the same boat as you with my last set of rims. You should have applied Zoop Seal to them.
http://www.zoops.com/zoopseal.asp
It is like polishing the rims twice (polish then treat) to receive a hose off finnish that lasts at least a year and maintains the unmatched polished aluminum look. Anodizing just doesn't shine enough for me.
Even "Wheel Wax" works pretty good and saves some polishing time.
