Nengun

I am looking at buying Advan GTs from Nengun, prices look great. $2200 for a staggered 4 before shipping. Says shipping is 7 days once it leaves Japan, but, I've heard horror stories of it taking months internationally.
Anyone have experience with Nengun and shipping rims/wheels?
And I did "search", but everything listed was years old on the topic.

i haven't ordered from them in a while, but there are two ways to ship from Japan.
1. air, this is quick, i had my coil over set in 48 hours, which is way faster than it needed to be, lol
2. boat. its way cheaper, but i've never seen it be an option. in the before times it was 6-8 weeks, but right now its like 6-28 weeks. the boats are moving about like they used to, but getting them unloaded and finding a truck in the US is the problem

with wheels they will send 4 boxes, because there is a size limit

the reality is..... you will order them and wait an indefinite amount of time. they dont know when the stuff is coming in. it just gets here when it gets here. call them first and specify you would like to pay more to NOT have to wait that way. they can ship it ems or fedex. alternatively you can use rhdjapan and not deal with any of the nonsense

I ended up going with RPF1s because the GTs were a 10+ month wait and I wanted some wheels for this summer.
I'll get the GTs later when I don't mind waiting.
