I want to get my hands on a genuine Re-Amemiya street diffuser. I know there are options, but i want te real deal. I know RHDJapan sells them, but they wanted 500USD for the diffuser, and then 700USD to ship it here. So thats out of the question.

So my question is then:

1 - Is it possible to arrange cheaper shipping from Japan to US/Europe? (Im located in Norway)

2 - Are there other places to buy Re-Amemiya parts than RHD Japan?

3 - Have anyone bought items directly from Re-Amemiya? If so, how did you go about doing that?

 

without speaking japanese, you wont be able to deal with them at all. when it comes to shipping, the diffuser is a very large item in a very large box. theres no way around the insane price. although your heart is set on genuine part, shine does make a replica and there are shine dealers in your region. another option would be to get with a import shop out there that deals in containers. they may be able to help on that shipping price as they would just throw it in with whatever container they have coming in.

 

Unfortunately, shipping doesn't change whether you buy directly or not. As mentioned above, the item is large and air shipping is quite costly due to that fact.

 

i purchased my RE wing through RHDjapan, their prices and shipping werent too bad to the US but i suppose its different to Norway, i cant imagine it will be any cheaper directly through RE, also like mentioned above, the diffuser is very large so the there is an oversize package charge with DHL/FedEx/UPS i am sure.
