Need help w/tires rubbing on FD

I just purchased some 245/40/18s to put on my FD. The wheels are ADRs, seven spoke, not sure of design or width. The car is lowered on blown KYBs w/old *** eibach goldine springs. I had the car down to go non sequential and bought the tires while repairing it. Its driveable now, but the tires rub like crazy. It used to on occasion w/the old 225/40/18s but now its a problem.

OK, so for my question. What is an ideal way to get the car back up so I'm not rubbing if I run over a pebble driving down the road? Car only sees street use, and I'm not too sure if I want to keep it, so I don't want to blow a shitload of cash. Thanks in advance.

Why did you buy a taller and wider tire then your originals were rubbing already? You could have predicted that buying those tires would make things worse.

If you can I would return then and get better fitting tires. It sounds like you might have had 8 inch wide wheels.

Since you probably can't return them, and you are trying to sell your car, you can TRY to run some negative camber....but this may create other issues.

I would just do it right and get proper fitting tires.

Buy some stock springs off of someone cheap and install those.

The wheels probably have too low of an offset and you are running tires that are a full inch too tall. Going back to a stock suspension will probably solve the problem but the REAL problem is incorrect tire sizing and likely poor wheel offsets.

Well i'm not sorry to say it... go buy the proper size tires for your car.

By the time you jerk around with raising it back up (which looks goofy w/ 18" wheels, you might as well take care of it the right way.

Thanks everybody for the help. I'll be getting some stock suspension as soon as I'm back home.
