Need help/Suggestions on Wheels
Hi, I need help on some wheel brand/ size suggestions for my FD. It is a black 1993 FD and the look I am going for is staggered/ flush fitment in matte black finish. 5 spoke. As wide as is feasible. I am trying to get a look like this:
Obviously, I don't want to spend a fortune but I do want quality wheels. I have been looking at SSR GTF01 and SSR SP1. I like the HRE 565r also but it is pricey. Any help appreciated. Preferably sizes to fit the FD3S RX-7 Spec-GT Full Aero from Shine.
Thanks

If you want an awesome functional SSR professor SP1 fitment.
go with a 18x10.5 rear with +43MM offset and a 18x10 +49mm front.
run a 255/35/18 front tire and a 265/35/18 or 285/30/18 rear.
Keep in mind that the lips of the wheels will look very different because of the 67mm offset NR (normal) disk for the front and the rear would be 80MM offset in NR (normal disk).
you get the best off all worlds. function and looks and the offset look while running normal disks to clear big brakes.
you will need to roll the fenders possibly....it will be close depending on what tire you choose.
