Need help fixing the problem
Hi guys,
After alignment with Pittit spec (long track), the car connors ways better. Sticks almost like glue (at least compared to before). Oh, also did get the connor balance too. Not exactly 50/50, but somewhere close.
Anyway, I still have the same problem, which I though would be gone with the alignment. The car follows uneven surface on the road, ie. part of the road where lots of cars drive on and so lower than the middle and the sides of the lane. (Dont' know if I explain it well) So, the car often 'shift' left-right on the uneven road surface. The faster the car goes, the worse the effect gets. Also, it sometimes 'wonders' a little in the lane.
IRCC, this has to do with something like, tires worn out, alignment spec, and etc, which I don't remember.
If you could help by telling me what to look for or fix, I'd be grateful like usual. If you could tell me how to search, I'd really appriciate that also.
BTW, my steering has no free movement. I mean if I turn it, the car will go. Usually, if you turn a steering wheel just a little, like 1/2 an ince, the car won't turn. But, my car would. Is this the cause of the problem? If not, I'd like to fix this too.

PS. I tried to get the shop to get me Howard Coleman's Spec of 48/52% weight distribution, but can't do it with my car. The shop said the car would look funny. Maybe if I move the battary to the back, that will do the trick.

How does the spec look???? My front tires are 235/40/18. Is alignment the problem? Also, how could I fix the steering to be more forgiving?

Getting your toe more back to 1/16" to 1/8" would help a little bit (0.067 to 0.125"). I can't tell from your specs whether the toe is "in" or "out", but am assuming "in".
What tires do you have and how worn are they?

The tires are Pirelli Nero. Pretty good tire. Nice and soft Not as sticky as AVS Sport or Dunlop 8000. They are pretty worn on the inside. Is this the cause? Cuz the toe spec does not look to be severe.

I don't know. With toe close to zero, the car will tramline quite a bit more. Just something you have to deal with to get sharper handling, to some extent.
BTW, 1.3 deg up front is pretty high for a street-driven car with 18s. What are your rear camber settings?

The rear is as follow...
Left
Camber = -0.8 degree
Toe = -0.01"
Right
Camber = -0.8 degree
Toe = 0.01"
Rear
Total Toe = 0.00
Thrust angle = -0.02 degree
