Need To Get Wheels To Fit Widebody

I currently have BBS Rx rims 17 inch 8 wide with 42 off set. I made my Quarter panels 2 inches wider and trimmed an inch of wasted sheet metal off in the proccess so I could fit bigger wheels.

I want to go with a 18 or 19 rim that sticks out 2 inches further than these. what would be the wheel specs to make this happen? how wide and what off set

18X12 -3 will fit good with a 265/45 and not rub if you did the normal 50mm(2in) widebody and trimmed out the inside.

What are you designing this car to do?

Street, Grip, Drift?

What's your budget for wheels?

Sounds like any of the inexpensive wheels for the 350Z should work for you perfectly.

Here's the Math, no shortcuts on this one.

17x8.0 +42, you want to push out 2" = 50mm

Therefore: 8" (-8)

But you want to go wider. Typically you'll find 8.5" and 9.5" wheels in your price range for the Z. Now i'm basing this off your existing wheel as a baseline. That doesn't mean I can't ADVISE A BETTER FITMENT.....

So 8.5" sounds like you can run a +0, or run a 9.5" front and a +15. I'm rounding the #'s FYI.

I would be glad to assist you more but you're gonna have to do some of the legwork.

1. Show me a style of wheel you like:
2. I'll ask more specific question with regards to your objectives, and FENDER MODS.....

I basically need to ask exactly.

1. How much wider than stock are the Front fenders?
2. How much wider than stock are the Rear fenders? NOW FOR REAR, is this width including or NOT including the "part of the fender you would roll"????

That makes, an inch difference like you said. I also wasn't sure if you just did the rear fenders or added to the fronts as well.

I have some wheels here on clearance.

Enkei RPF1 SBC Finish and Silver Finish

18x9.5 and 10.5 +15 offset for both. This sounds like it might be a good fitment.

I pulled my fronts out 1 inch, the arch of the wheel well traveled upwards 3/4 of an inch in the process . MY rears I cut the 1/4 panel off flush with my inner wheel well and spot wielded them together then added my 2inches from there with my custom made flares. So I have a 2" lip at top dead center of wheel well that fades into orignal lip about 1/2way down both sides molded into side skirts
