All right, I'm looking to replace my shocks. I've heard that I should replace the strut boots, and possibly strut mounts at the same time.

However, what I need to know is this- do I need to replace springs when I do shocks? How important is it?

 

You don't NEED to replace springs when changing shocks. But its easier to change it now then go back and change them later.
