looking for some 15x8s or so

For 5 lug FC3S. I need some wider wheels since my 6" stockers aren't cutting it on the track.

Where should I look... any suggestions on wheels?

I was in the same situation a while ago looking for 15x8's for track use. There seemed to be nothing that was even close to matching my criteria of weight, strength, availability, cost and fittment.

What I ended up getting is some Rota Slipstreams, 15x8, 114.3x5, 40mm offset, ~14lbs. I got them from www.18racing.com and they're only $550 shipped, so it's a good deal to boot. I can confirm that they'll fit just fine with spacers (I've got 7/16" ones for an offset of ~29mm).

You'll need longer studs to accomodate the spacers. ARP 100-7713 in the front and ARP 100-7708 in rear will give plenty of length to accomodate those or thicker spacers (the installed lengths are about the same, the 100-7708's aren't quite long enough in front).

I don't think you can get Welds in the right sort of offsets (too low) and they're heavy. Besides, it's not like the Rotas are expensive or anything.

949 ONLY make 4 bolt wheels, so that's not an option.

Why not run some FD 16x8 rims and spacers from Rishie? You can run a 245/45/16 all around with coilovers. Plenty of tire for an FC.

slipstreams remind me of hondas way too much. no steez!

and I want 15s to slide on, 16" tires are so much harder to come across and are weak sauce.

If you're serious about performance you won't care what they look like. I bought mine to put race tires on for track driving. I wouldn't care too much if they were bright pink, as long as they worked. Personally I think they're decent looking. On a black car it'll look menacing.

They're ONLY available in black.

Oh by no means are they bad, ugly wheels! I just don't care for the fact that they remind me of hondas. meh I'll get over it. Or just rock weapon 17x9s

Well I obviously don't care what car a particular set of wheels might remind somone of (I have Mustang wheels for my street wheels), as long as it looks good. Seriously though, there's not really anything else in that size that fits, other than some heavy *** welds that'll stick out too far.
