KYB AGX and Camber Plates
Anyone with insight into making the AGX struts work with camber plates?
The Ground Control web site says that the struts shafts need to be machined to work with their camber plates (14mm shaft). I have some AWR plates and it is evident that the AGX struts will not work with the provided spring perch. I will call AWR and see what they say but was wondering if this is a know issue. Apparently, KDR made camber plates that worked with tha AGX struts, but sadly these are no longer available.

So, It appears that if you want to use a stock sized strut (18mm or .709" shaft) with either the Ground Control or the AWR camber plates that you need to have the shaft machined to 5/8", since both of the camber plates (may be the same) use a 5/8" bearing. The AWR camber plate provides bushings to down size this to 1/2". This is apparently the standard shaft size for the Bilstein shock insert (12.5 mm or .49"). Not sure but the Koni insert may be the same or it may be 14mm size refered to on the Ground Control site. 14mm is the size of the threaded portion of the AGX (and I assume stock struts).
