Arrow KYB-agx

One of my friends is selling some struts, they are two 8-way adjustable rear KYB-agx's, and two 4-way adjustable front KYB-agx's

Are these good struts? I have Eibach pro lower springs to go with them.

Any advice would be cool, i can get a good price for em. If they are crappy what would you recommend for a all around good setup for street, and occasional auto-x and dragging...

Thanks

The question to answer is "WHy doesn't he want them?" as well as "what is a good price?" They are inexpensive as it is.

From what I've heard, they work fine. I have not spoken to anyone who has actually taken them to the track to truly check the quality as well as the dampening/rebound capabilities.

But a "good deal" is like $250.00 if they are used. New for $400.00, if not $370.00 at the least. Trust me, I know about the pricing. These are very hard to compete with because there is no money to make at those prices.

Good luck, Rishie

I'll check back tommorrow.

The Mazdaspeed coilovers that I have are made by KYB and they look just like 4 way adjustable AGX shocks. I am happy with them on the #4 setting at all four corners. Performance and Ride is very good. I am sure the valving is custom for Mazdaspeed so they could be different from the ones you can buy, but mabey not.

Let me know what kind of prices you can get on the Koni yellows and I will see if I can help/beat it. I am intending to do the Koni and GC setup as well and if we get it at the same time I'll just send it your way + shipping.

Good luck,

Rishie

The KYB AGX shocks have alloy bodies and are gas not oil so they cant have adjustable platforms added to them. i was looking at them until i found that out, now i am getting a complete set of KONI's for $15NZ more they are more adjustable than the agx's as well.

just outta interest how much would a complete set of kyb agx's set you back over there?

Cheers

KYB AGX

FYI folks - I put KYB AGX adjustables on all 4 corners last weekend, over Labor Day weekend I visitied friends 400 miles away. The shocks feel great, not too stiff or soft. I have stock coils, wheels and tires. Total price for all 4 was around US$500 with shipping from Victoria British.

Thanks, Rishie
