Koni's and Stock Springs...pics

Here is a picture of my 93 with 83k mile springs and koni yellow shocks. I have the shocks all around set to the lowest setting. Going to raise the rear to even it out until i can afford springs lol. Posting pics because I couldn't find any threads that had pictures with this combo and different settings.

does anyone have suggestions on springs? I have koni yellow shocks right now, and I cant live with this ride height lol. I did a search and most people recommend to get coil-overs...whicih is not what I'm looking for. Something slightly lower than stock ride height and with a good spring rate to match my koni's would own. Thanks.

Howard has an impressive thread about options for FD:

https://www.rx7club.com/suspension-wheels-tires-brakes-20/howard-colemans-fd-chassis-setup-723617/

It seems like the two best options are either Teins S or Eibach springs in your case. I personally bought a set of Eibach cause they're only 33% stiffer than stock springs (as opposed to~66% for the Teins S), I just need to find the time to install them now.

I should have mentioned the Eibach are discontinued, seems like you can only get them used (which is how I got mines). I think you should put some thinking into which springs you want to buy, I have seen people finding the Tein S great for track but a bit stiff for streets.

Don't hesitate to ask around there are some very knowledgeable people on this forum.

I went with the Tein S as per your recommendation, I have one end (front or rear) set to lowest setting, and one end set to 2nd setting. I don't remember which is which haha.

Looks good man,

Yellow fits the FD so well.

I would say you'd need some 99 spec wheels :o)

https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...99+spec+wheels

Can't wait to have my Eibach installed
