Im using a spring I havn't heard of before, I was told it was a division of kings...I think?! Im In New Zealand and was told this was and Australian brand. The box the Springs came in were labled Dobinsons, On the instructions and all relative paperwork, they were refered to as DobiSport Springs and I also got stickers for the side of the car, on which they are called DobiCoils. They're 50mm lowered and Im happy with the performance so far they seem to handle really nice. Im also running KYB Shocks all round.
I got the following info from Revhed sometime ago and am just about to fit them.
" Paul, the fron't end shouldn't be lowered more than about 30mm due to lack of travel and the back needs to sit about 10mm lower to obtain the correct roll centre geometery. I've found that low King Springs on the front and super low on the back does this perfectly. King Springs aren't overly stiff either which should suit your application."
It sounded like good advice from someone who knows what he is doing.
Adsy in his virtual garage also has some good comment on setting up an RX-7 using Pedders springs which may be cheaper in Melbourne

yup the pedders springs work great!!
there are made to high quality standards and sit the car just right with great spring rates! they work fine with std shocks (the car will sit flatter) if there in good condition, but work best with a aftermarket shock, weather it be pedders or another good brand.
i can get you a brand new set of 4 for $300 if your keen on them.
I can also get shocks and front sway bars if you want a full kit, either now or later on
