K2RD rear pillow-ball mounts
I'm trying to get any information regarding the k2rd rear pillowball mounts. Does anyone have them? did they make any difference in handling stiffness over the stock rear mounts? And, is it worth purchasing them.
Pictures would be a definate plus since I have not idea what these things look like.
My current plan is:
k2rd front coilover kit
k2rd rear coilover kit
front camber plate
rear camber link
RB front swaybar
RB rear swaybar
RB endlink kit (2)
but I still am trying to determine whether the pillow ball mounts are worth the money...although not having to remove the stock mount from the strut shaft is a plus since I have no airtools.
Thanks
Mike

I'm not sure how much difference they would make as any flex there would not effect the aligment. which is why you want to get rid of the front ones. it's more of a strengh thing, as I've heard of people breaking the stock ones. They were not ready yet when I ordered my coilovers and camber plates so I never got them.
I believe the pillowballs are worthwhile. Just be ready for more feedback from the road. I guess it depends how much "consistency" you want and how much "play" you might want. There's always a sacrifice of comfort when removing the nice soft rubber bushings.

i just got the following from k2rd: coil-over kit, camber plates, rear pillow ball mount, and adj rear camber link. this stuff is first class. i'm building an scca its car, so we'll see how things go. i got the suspension on tue. nite. (or was that wed morning...?). no real road test as of yet tho. car needs an alignment. putting the camber link on tonite or tomorrow. i say, go for the mount. again, this stuff is really nice, and if you're gonna do something, why do it 1/2 way? next track testing day is mid-august. i'll post the results.
