How to tell Eibach spring rates??

I am talking about the Eibach springs with 2.5" diameter used for coilover/coilover kits.

There is a number on the spring, and I am thinking the last 3 numbers are the rate.

Anyone know for sure?

TIA

One number is length (in mm) and the other number is rate (in kg-mm).
I forget what the exact format of the numbers, but it's pretty obvious once you see the groupings.&nbsp You have a spring around handy?

As a general rule I just multiply the metric spring rate by 56 and that should be really close to the standard units of lb/in.

You can see the number.
For example, 0800-250-0450

0800 means the free height , 8 inch.
250 means inner diameter. , 2.5 inch
0450 means the spring rate , 450 lbs per inch

We have a winner! It's in lb/inch, not kg/mm ...

Not all Eibach Springs from GC are written in "0800-250-0450" that format. I got some that the numbers were all weird, and I didn't know what they meant...After reading ReTed's post, I am thinking they were probably in kg/mm. I wish I had my extra springs here with me so I could tell.

It looks like Eibach finally converted them over.
All GC springs are kg-mm, at least the ones on my FC are.
"66" = 6.6kg-mm x 55.88 = 369, but GC calls them "400"

All "euro" Eibach springs are stamped this way, and they all adhere to kg-mm numbers.

My FB Eibach's from GroundControl are "GC150.64.53" So is that 5.3X55.88=296 Spring rate? I wasn't sure if I received the right ones or not.

Thanks
