What's a recharge and how do you know it needs it?

1. Get jumper cables.
2. ....
3. Profit?

Seriously, call HKS, and have your wallet ready.

For your guys info these HKS coilovers the struts can get recharged when they are not performing good any more so it acts like a dead strut. There is a nipple on the bottom of the strut and you can charge them back up so its like a new strut again. instead of replacing the strut is a rechargable one.

Best bet would be to call HKS USA.

Unless you removed the gas your self, I think you need a rebuild.

Shocks are charged with nitrogen and a recharge of the gas isn't a magical rebuild. The gas lives in a chamber that is seperate from the oil. If you have a valve to recharge them and oil comes out that valve you have a bad seal.

If the valve is bad it will let the gas out and the shocks will do strange things, usually at low piston speeds at first then all **** will hit the fan once there are bubbles in the oil.

A call the HKS will let you know if they are user servicable. They can tell you what to do.
