Help me choose a color for FN01RC's

I'll be getting them in 17X9 +43 and 17X10 +35... probably going to go with 235/40/17 and 255/40/17 RT615s for tires. Anyway, I'm really torn between bronze and hyper black... Here are a few pics of my car to show the color since I have a custom paintjob.

What do you guys think? Bronze of hyper black?

I vote bronze....and lower the car!!!

with the width you're going with you could easily fit a 245/275 tire combo which would also help to control some of that wheel spin.

The rear offset is too low for 275 in the rear... maybe I'll just roll the real fenders like hell so I can fit 275s back there.

Thanks for the opinions so far. Keep them coming!

sorry, you got me there. I completely glossed over the offsets. That's still a little meat for a lot of power.

So does this mean you're keeping the car?

It is very likely that I will. I'll keep it on the market for another month or so, but it doesn't look like it's going to sell anytime soon. Looks like I'll end up keeping it.

In another thread, someone said that 5zigen will shave the wheel (up to 5mm?) to increase offset. Either get the 10s back to +40, or run 17x9 +48 with 255s all around.

I really like the concave look of 17X10. Do you have a link to that thread?

Anyway, I just found another set of wheels that I really like... I'll just post a new thread about it.

mine are getting shaved 5mm. 17 x 10 with 255s all around. my understanding is that i will need to roll the fronts only.

Does 5zigen shave the wheels or do you just have to get it done yourself?

My FC is a very similar color to your FD. Personally, I would choose silver over anything. Painted silver with a polished lip would be a good choice for you, IMHO.

If it HAS to be either bronze or black, go for the black. Goldish rims on a grey/silvery car just looks messed up. I think bronze looks HORRIBLE on cars of our color.

Nice FD. I'd probably say Hyper Black.

Bronze seems to be the most popular choice... I'm still torn, but leaing towards bronze a bit.
