I started trying to install my ground control coilover kit with the GAB Super R shocks and filed down the weld like maxcooper's site tells you to and removing the cadmium plate, but the damn collars will simply NOT slide onto the shock body.

wasup with this???

i dont see on any other install where people had to either bore out the collar(which i could do - it is done about 1/4" of the way in and THAT part slides on, but not any further) or filing down more on the shock body which i dont want to do b/c i am scared of going down too far or ruining the integrity of the shock body.
