Help with choosing wheel/tire sizes and offsets for flared-fendered FC

Im thinking about purchasing a set of flared fenders (both front and rear) for my FC. Supposedly will give me 30mm more clearance. Need a little help choosing the optimal sizes , both to fill out the fenders, and fit the widest tire on I can. This is with regular sized springs, no coilovers. Right now I have 17x8s all around with a 32mm offset, and they seem to fit well. A little close to the strut up front (running 235/40r17 tires), and plenty of clearance in the rear. (255/40r17s) Any help would be appreciated, for both wheel and tire size suggestions. Thanks!

I like to run 9" wide up front, offset around +10 to +15 with a 255 wide tire in front.
For the rears, you can go 10" or 10.5".
For 10.5" wide rear, run similar offsets like up front...+10 to +15 with a 275 wide tire, and it should look really nice.

Also, you dont think a 10.5" wheel with a 15mm offset would stick out too far in the back? Going by toyos wheel offset calculator, it says that would extend 49mm more than my 8" wide, +32 offset wheels. Thats 19mm more than the flared fenders will give me.

8" +50 is pretty tight in the rear.
I use the FD wheel specs for inside clearance.
Adjusting for a 10.5" wide wheel, you need to adjust 2.5" / 2 = 1.25".
+50mm - (1.25" x 25.4) = +50mm - 38mm = +12mm
So +15 is going to be just about absolute max offset that will clear the insides.
I've seen a 18" x 10.5", +9 with 295(!!!) wides tires clear the rears no problem.

Now, in reference to the tires...
16" x 8", +50 like the FD wheels with 225/50/16 tires will allow for at least 2" more clearance to the fender edge.
Going with the 10.5" wide wheels, that's 2.5" wider than the 8" wide wheels.
The stock fenders will eat up 2" of the 2.5", and your fender flares should easily eat up the rest of the 0.5".
If anything, go for a 10.5", +10 or *smaller* offset for your 30mm(?) fenders...
In fact, if you get 30mm overfenders in the rear, you can technically go with a *-20mm* offset with the 10.5" wide wheel!!!
