ordering a set of volk rims and......

I'm wondering how long it has taken you guys in the past to get them? I ordered mine on july 26th, and the guy told me they had to order my rear ones because of the specs I specified for them, and that they would be coming from japan.

3 months - pretty much standard, unless the distributor has it in stock.

I got my LE37Ts the day I picked them out. AutoRnD is an authorized distributer for Volk, WEDsport, Work, etc., and Rishie is a pleasure to do business with.

Exclamation

Looks like you're wanting to advertise again Rishie? You should contact me at ryan@rxtuner.com
Whoa. I just read this in the Work wheel thread. I want to make it clear that I am NOT Rishie, or affiliated in any way with him or AutoRnD. I'm a satisfied customer, and nothing more.

I'll get rid of the link to his site that I posted, but don't you agree that people should know that it's not neccesary to wait 6 months for a set of rims?

Took me 3.5 months to get my Titanium Silver CE28N's. Got mine thru Racing Zone, who is a distributor for Volk in Florida.

However, in those 3.5 months, i picked up a sponsor, and now need new wheels again

wonder if they can do like a rush/overnight delievry on them, cuz I heard they just put them on a boat which takes most of the time for them to get here. I ordered my rims from northeast auto design who are based in maine. they told me 60-90 days to get them....

I shipped some wheel from Knoxville, TN to Chicago and it was around $150.00. I asked for a price for overnight just out of curiousity and it was a little over $700.00 Dollars. My advice is to be patient.

from what i have heard, Volk is too big a company to overnight rims to you (if coming straight from Japan). They take a month to be made, then they are shipped via boat to California, then they come whatever method, usually by truck.

Volk makes the OE wheels for Nissan, Mazdaspeed, Race teams, etc, so one person getting a set of rims from the states can wait (thats what im under the impression of).

Hehe. Chris has a new sponsor. Wonder who that is. lol. Chris we look forward to furthering your endeavors for ultimate driving pleasure and functional balance.

I am familiar with the issues of bringing wheels from Japan. It is standard to say 60-90 days, but there are certain instances where it may take longer. You can always try and call Mackin to confirm that an order was placed. Mention your dealer, if they are listed on the site, and the exact wheel including offset you've ordered. They should be able to assist you.

Push #1 and you'll receive any available sales rep. Tell them very nicely that you have ordered a set of Volk Racing Wheels from what shop and when you ordered them. They will not provide you specifics. Just say you wanted to confirm that the wheels had been ordered as you've gone past the 90 day period. If prior to the 90 days, simply inquire when they would expect those wheels from that dealer to arrive.

Good luck and glad I can help. The guys I know over there are really cool. Just be real nice, cause they might wonder who the heck is this. lol. Make sure you tell them you are a paying client. hehe.

Hahah, and I look forward to spreading the word about both suspension works and wheels. I actually already have 3 people who are going to order some custom wheels

I REALLY appreciate it!! I wont say too much more, as it may seem like an advertisement.
