In addition to tire rack I like shox dot com.
I have the H&R's with konis, nice handling combination. The highest setting is still pretty low though, looks good but driveways can be a challenge. Nice combo!

Majik.. Reason I believe they are blown is because when i compress the shocks, they do not recoil back. it takes some effort to compress but my understanding is that when they don't recoil back the they are on the way out? Pls educate me. I have a set of old tokico illuminas that came with the h&r springs. The po stated the 2 of 4 shocks are blown. After inspecting them, I found after compressing the front shocks, they would recoil back. Only 1 of the rear shocks would recoil while the other would just stay compressed.

Nope. That is an internet rumor for the most part. Shocks don't function as springs. You should not expect all shocks for the FD to "recoil" or spring outward after compression. Konis don't. Nor do stock IIRC.
Unfortunately, Tokico shocks are not rebuildable:

But you may be able to find a local race shock place that can test them on a shock dyno. That will tell you for sure. Or just buy some Konis.

i guess i'll just keep riding on my stock shocks until they feel horrible and just save up more for some koni's =D quick question though. i noticed that my stock suspension has no bump stops. When taking apart the H&R with tokico's, there were bumpstop/bellows together(old OEM parts). should i buy some generic ES bump stops to inhibit bottoming out?

IIRC, The stock bump stops are integrated into the stock upper shock mounts.
