H&R Springs

Anyone running H&R sport springs model # 52615 on an FD. I am trying to get the spring rates and comparisons to Eibach. H&R will not give out the rates.

I have never seen the rates published for the FD which typically means they are progressive rate springs.

I'm pretty sure they're progressive. I ran H&R springs and loved them on other cars but i don't know for the FD

I had H&R's on my FD with Illumina's and I didnt like the springs at all. The car sat way too low for my taste. I would have to do that annoying move where you go into every driveway and over every speed bump at a crazy angle all the time. It sucked. These are good if you're into a low FD with a nice ride. I sold my springs and got some coilovers to set it at the proper height. I've never been happier

^For comparison purposes on my car with Konis, the ride height is around 25.25 - 25.5" all around. This setup has worked very well on street and track for me. Whether the H&Rs are progressive or not hasn't been an issue for me as they have provided a good combination of streetability and track worthiness and the ride height works. I only do HPDE so no TT or other timed events fwiw.

Generally speaking, H&R, Eibach and other aftermarket spring manufacturers tend to increase rates 20-30% over stock on their lowering springs.

I ended up with Eibachs; but my ride height is 25.25 FLHS, 25.375 FRHS, 26.0 RLHS, 26.25 RRHS
