Gram Light 57 pros on my FD
#4
Damn!!! Those are sweet my man!! I really regret not getting them now. The only reason I didn't get the Pros was because they didn't come in 19" sizes which I need to fill in my body kit. I got the GT-C faceII. I really hope they look as good as yours

no fender rub. got all for fender lips rolled and repainted/coated with a chip guard similar to the lower paneling. if you look real close there is a very small line, but it protects real well. also the lips are rolled all the way to vertical so that helps alot.
size 18x8 in front (235/40/18) 18x10 rear (265/35/18) offset +38 in rear, I forget the front.. check the wheels/tires/suspension section. it's in there somewhere. I'll post more pics later tonight/tomorrow

P.S. big props to rishie (ARD T2) and the ARD crew

Hi greg,
The graphite wheels look incredible on a VR car, excellent choice!
Can you post pics of the fenders up close?
How much differently do the rolled fenders look than the stock ones?
Is there any difference?
How is your clearance from the edge of the tire to the wheel? I have 265's on 10" wheels in the back that fit w/out rolling the fender lip, but it doesn't look like I can go any bigger...
Last question, is you car lowered, if so, how much?
thanks,
kyle

kyle,
I'll take a bunch of pictures this weekend so you can see the job they did on the fenders.
From the outside, there is no difference in appearance, the fender lip usually sits perpindicular to the rest of the body, so you would never see it, they rolled it so they were close to parrallel to the rest of the body. When they started rolling the fenders, my paint started cracking (which everyones will probably do) so they then coated the lip and about 1/8th-1/16th of an inch on the outside and used a paint similar to the rock guard that runs along the bottom 1/4 of the side of the car, then they clearcoated it. I'll try to capture all that in pics, but it's really hard to see (which is a good thing).
I didn't have to roll all 4 lips, but it was precautionary and doing 1 is as much effort for the body shop as 4.
Yes my car is lowered, approx. 2" (little more in the front to even it out) with a set of JIC FLT-A2's (thanks again to Rishie and the ARD crew)
Half past - I got a bunch of stuff done at the same time so that might have affected the price, but it was about $210 with rolling/painting/etc.

the silencer? yeah, I left mine at rishie's shop. Not that big of a deal.
I can't remember really, what we did is take measurements first on the stock setup, then subtracted 2 inches, set the coilovers to match, then fine tuned it afterwards.
why did you take off the sway bars? I didn't have to. maybe unhook the linkage, but that's it

Big red, those looks great...
I bought mine two months ago, I think I got a really good deal. Is $2050.00 with 265/35/18 tires a resonable price for this combo? If you don't mind, could you tell me how much you paid for yours?
Thanks.
