Good tires??

I wanted to know what kind of tires do you guys recommend. I want something not to pricy, but not cheap. I was looking at the AZENIS RT-615, but dont really know whats good or bad. These are for a daily driver, but will also be used at the Canyons a couple times a month.

i use toyo ra-1's on the track and love them. they stick really well. not sure i would reccomend them for daily driving though. it might be a good idea to get two sets, one for daily, and one for more "spirited" driving(track, canyon, whatever)

Azenis RT-615's - really soft compound; very good stick in dry - dunno about rain
Do you need to worry about rain?
This is really an R-compound race tire.

I run Bridgestone S-03 Pole Positions.
Great in dry.
Great in rain.
For a daily driver that will see wet, it's a good tire.
This is a street tire.

Toyo RA-1's - really soft compound; very good stick in dry.
This is still an R-compound tire, so it'll wear very quick for daily driving.
About the same class as the Azenis RT-615, but I think the RA-1 has a slight edge if you see some rain due to the better grooving.
The compound is on the harder side, so you'll see slightly more mileage versus some of the softer R-compound tires.

Yokohama A032R - comes in two different compounds, but both are R-compound race rubber.
We run the "hard" version on our 20B FC, and it puts up great stick.
Rain is actually decent due to the grooving.
Tire Rack has some great prices on the stock sizes, and even larger sizes are a pretty damn good price.

I haven't tried the Yokohama Advan AD-07's, but I'm trying to buy a set soon.
These have been getting rave review, and although it's a street tire, I have a feeling the compound is very soft.

Toyo T1-S and T1-R are both great tires for daily drivers. They stick well, break predictably, heat cycle well, handle abuse very well and I ran 10,000 miles on my T1-S before they looked even half worn. Other good tires that I've had good experiences with are Dunlop SP Sport 8000s (a little bit of an old tire though), BFG G-Force Sports (mentioned before in the thread, great bang for the buck), and Falken FK-451s. All of these are good tires that will offer good driveability in wet or dry, will last 15,000 miles or more, and offer decent driving dynamics. All of the tires I mentioned are relatively cheaply priced. Bridgestone S0-3s are great tires but they're a little too much to pay for rubber I burn off all too easily.

The RT-615s may be a little too hardcore for what you want. Big treadblocks mean they will hydroplane easier than other tires, and they're a very sticky/soft compound so while they stick really well, they'll lose almost all tread within 10k or 12k miles. That said, they stick like all hell.
