Good Tire Website
First I will say that I had a great experience buying tires from Connor at Tirerack. I've successfully shopped with them at least 6 times with no problems.
My back tires are shot but my fronts have lots left (I'm sure nobody has ever had that problem).
Searched all over the web for my match but none of the major sites had the size and model any more.
Then I found www.onlinetires.com
The site doesn't really look that great and I was a little hesitant - but they had my tires really cheap. I went ahead and ordered and sure enough they showed up today just as they promised.
I got Yokohoma AVS ES 100 tires sized 275/40/17 for $124 each. Both shipped from CA to PA for $54.
Thought I would pass it along...

That's a really nice tire Rich.
I have these cheaper Yokohomas right now because when I was doing the car as an entire project 2 years ago they really fit my budget. I figured I'll blast through this rear set again and then the fronts will finally be caught up.
Then it's on to some upgraded rubber like the Goodyears or maybe Michelins.
I will say though - the Yokohamas were stupid cheap and never let me down.
