Fikse FM 10 vs. Profil 10
What are the differences? Who has either of these wheels on their car? I've always thought the FM10 is THE best looking wheel on an FD. But the Profil10 are kick-*** too!

Those are awesome wheels, I could never tell the difference. My friend has those on his Supra, he actually made his rear wider with custom molded fenders. If you've ever seen the Supra with the twin T66's, thats his car. He has
Fikse FM/10 19x9.5 w/ Pirelli 275-35-19 (F)
Fikse FM/10 19x12.5 w/ Michelin 345-35-19 (R)

The Profil line have slightly different shapes (more complex) in the center section, as well as a revised rim half shape... note the slightly curve-faced spokes, sharper contour around the center of the wheel, and different lug pockets. Fikse's site actually has a press release about them someplace. They are apparenly a little stronger.... and a little pricier.
The finishes available for both lines are the same... just the pictures are a little differently lit. I've seen Profils on a BMW M3, and used to have a set of FM10's. It's really a subtle difference.

How did you know my secret!!!
Yeah man the beauty almost made me forget that. They are always dirty and cleaning them involves your hands bleeding at the end......
But very solid, I still slow to 10 mph for rail crossings but when by accident I go over a pot-hole i am not scared very very strong rim.
Good luck, personally I don't like the 5 but I am partial to Mesh wheels.

No Sh@#$t!!
About the 3rd time i hand polished the lips, I was done. If I ever got Fikses again, i'd get them annodized, including the lip... black or maybe that speed silver they have. No way would I polish again.
I'll tell you what else is lame... Fikse basically won't refinish the wheels. If the clear coat on the center breaks up (and i've seen many sets of technopolish centers that are), or annodizing goes bad or gets damaged, you're buying new centers... which is not cost effective. in my opinion, for the price you pay, I think the finishes should be more durable, or they should figue out how to refinish them...
