Question Feedback about Zeal B6 coilovers?

Hi guys,

A few months ago I grabbed this set of Zeal S6 coilovers. They look almost new. In the title I'm asking feedback for B6 because they were a bit more popular. The S6 are similar to the B6 except that the body is made of aluminum. They are impressively light (6 and 7 pounds). I'm thinking of installing these but before I'd like to hear some feedback. Anybody uses these?

I also got two questions about these:
1) Do you know if the bushings specified in the picture are still available?
2) Is the lower collar in the circle suppose to turn? They won't budge.

Thanks.

I have a set of Function B6 coilovers on my car.

The lower collar allows for lowering ride height without affecting pre-load on the springs. They are supposed to be tight/locked.

The bushings are still available. Get in touch with Endless USA. They can get you new bushings if needed. One of the greatest positives about Zeal coilovers is that they can be serviced at the Endless location in California. No need to send them to Japan. I believe they offer rebuild service starting at $100/corner.

Ok but does the lower collar spin independently from the lower body part (the part where the bushing is inserted)?

How do they drive? Do you like them? Are they smooth on the street? Do you have the 11k/10k spring rates setup?

Lot of questions...

Thanks for you help.

Yes, the lower collar, when loose, will allow for the body to move independently, allowing you to lower or raise the body.

They are one of my favorite coilovers. Not too bad on the street. I am not sure on spring rates.

Thanks for your help. Did you have to rebuild them yet?

Anyone else has feedback about these.

Whoops! I didn't realized he was in Canada. For some reason, I thought he was in Cali.

Would love to but won't happen...

Not much feedback about these. From my search on here they seemed to be popular 10 years ago.
