There is a guy I see around here with them on his red FD, he has 18's and I beleive they are darker, like a dark chrome "Iodized" is that the right wrong, I have gunmetal volks and they are not the same color. I heard he was having some engine probelms but I'll try to snap a pic next time I see him out.

are those rims heavy? sub-$300 per rim is pretty damn nice if they were light, esp. after reading up on the prices of some other ones...

how heavy are they? I like the look but i don't want to risk any possible performance that I could have.

where can you find the 17X9's for sale? I am interested as these wheels are actually affordable, as opposed to $500+ per wheel for volks and others.

just bought a set of the typhoons from rotary and we weighed them with tires. the 17 x 9 for the rear weigh 44.5 lbs which is only 4 lbs over the stock weight with tires. the 17 x 8 for the front weighed about a pound lighter than the rears so they are very compromable to the stockers. the look sweet on the car by the way.

17x8 5Zigen Typhoon = $169
17x9 5Zigen Typhoon = $179

$285 is way too much.

I am debating between these and the FN01RC Bronze for my BB FD. Anyone have pics of these on their FD's yet?

You have two options with those wheels in regards to fitment as well. Let me know if you're actually interested as we are a distirbutor for 5Zigen as well.

We can mount and balance whatever tires you want and know your fitments. Ask any of the guys around here. We'll take care of you.

The price from discount is way too much.

Peace, Rishie

You can do 9's all around or 8's and 9's.

sparkey,

What kind of tires do you have? Some tires are a lot heavier than others.

Also, does anyone have some good pics of these on an FD yet?

Thanks for the link to the pics... first ones I've seen of those wheels on an FD!

Anyone happen to have any other full-car pics with those wheels? Particularly in the hypersilver color?

Thanks,
Wade
