Arrow FD rear caliper slider bolts - which one goes on top?

I had both my rear calipers apart and I can't remember which of the slider bolts/pins goes on top and which goes on the bottom. I searched but couldn't find anything on it either.

Can someone please refresh my memory?

Thanks

I have this one sitting in the bottom hole right now. Is this correct?

Match the bolts by the letter on the head. One has a "G" and the other "L". The letters are also stamped on the caliper bracket next to the holes so you can match them up.

^bad mojo

I think it doesn't screw in properly if you switch it. I remember there was a really old thread about it but I can't seem to find it anymore.

Thanks for the tip DigDug. I'll check it manana.

Thanks, I tried to put them back in the same hole they came from but now I'm questioning myself. They screwed in fine but I better check anyway.

^Thanks Eggie. It is indeed on that page. After 6 hours working on the car doing various things, I was pretty tired and totally missed that page when I looked in the FSM for it.

You end up f'ing up the threads. Ask me how I know.

Like it's supposed to be, flush w/ caliper body:

F'd up threads. Was not paying attention when I put it back together and started to tighten down bolts. If anyone has a pass side rear caliper assy laying around, please PM me.

Try NAPA. That is where I got my last one. Although the hardware was not usable.
