(FD) Knight sports dampers... Anyone have info on these?

I picked these up at a junkyard in Japan for less than the cost of gas to get there. I currently have some Toda fightex coilovers, but the front height adjusting collars are seized. I want to throw these on while I try to mend the Todas. My 7 is my daily driver so a swap/fix/swap is what I'm looking for, but if the KS feel better I might keep them permanent.

Problem is, I can't find anything on the web for these and would like to get some tips/specs before I swap.

Any takers?
Here's a pic:

Here's the stamp on back of the shock body. It looks like it was made for knight sports by KYB. Still can't find any info though...

There was a Car and Driver comparison on the shock dyno comparing the KYB Gr2 to Koni sport, Koni sport won by a long shot. There's no telling what piston and valves are in these things, but they are red... It's a long shot I know.

I have a set is well but have yet to drive my car with them on . From what I can gather they are similar to the GAB shocks (nearly look identical) which, from what I have read people have said, ride very stiff

Looks like a KYB AGX adjuster. These are full body coilovers? You could hope they are KYB bodies spec-valved for Kinight Sports, because the off-the-shelf AGX damping sucks.

Got the fronts on today. They sit about 1" higher than my Todas, which is exactly how much I was going to raise the Todas if they weren't seized. Took her for a spin, so far so good. They were actually just a touch softer than the Todas. I can live with that until the Todas are fixed. Overall, not bad on the maiden voyage.
