ADVAN Racing 18x11 w 295/30

Hey 7Club!

Set-up is for RX8 time attack / hpde build. Previous set-up was RS-DF 18x9.5 +22 with R888R 255/35 with -3.5 camber up front on stock DFV's.

Currently looking for a new track wheel and tire combo. 18x11.0 +30 with A052 295/30 (increasing to -4 up front, revalved Sake DFV's). Primarily considering the R6, looking at the RZ-F2 and RZ-DF as well. Curious if anyone has direct knowledge / experience with the R6. Only material available is basic sales pitches online.

Thanks in advance!

Unfortunately unless you plan on purchasing a set of your own, I'm betting you'll just have to settle for dreams instead. Imo, the average 'American' FD / Mazda enthusiast today prefers to support China wheels.

I don't know what specs are but, "Andymcfly" on Instagram has similar Advan wheels. probably less aggressive than what you posted, but should give you an idea....

Appears to be the RGD2. There's a big difference between the two wheels. Mold-forged wheel vs flow formed. Price is approx +30-40% more for the forged set.

I finally got around to measuring the weight of my R6's. Unscientific bathroom scale pulls an average weight of 18 lbs dead even. I took 5 measurements and even convinced my wife to do 1 for me, ha (she's quite the trooper.) Pretty impressive imo.

I also included a couple pics of some wheel candy that just arrived from Jp. The quality is seriously next level (imo) and I'm very much looking forward to putting them to use and putting miles one them. Funnily enough, out of everything that was ordered (even other made to order parts), the caps ended up requiring the longest lead times.

I've gone out of my way to collect a bunch of subtle little bits of things here and there; my hope is that it turns out well.

Thanks for looking club!
