Front wheel fitment with -2.5 to -3 degrees of camber.

Ok, so with my previous car I came to this same issue. I had a set of wheels on it that fit great with stockish alignment settings. Now when I started tracking it (Skyline) I got a more agressive alignment which called for -2.5 degrees of camber in the front. With this set-up, I found that I had almost an extra 1.5cm of clearance to the fender in the front.

I'm purchasing some wheels for my FD, I was leaning towards the Enkeis in 17x9 +45 as it's a proven setup. I've only seen them on a car with stock alignment and they fit well.

My car will be mainly a weekend/track car so the alignment will always be quite extreme. I was going to go with the +45 in the rear so it would make it easier to rotate tires with the front.

Now my question is, with more room for wheel/tire in the front... how much wider of a wheel can I fit all around? 9.5?... 10? and how much more of an extreme offset can I run? +40? +37?

I think there are 17x9.5 +37 Enkeis out there... does anyone run them on all fours with a 265 tire? Does it fit without rolling the fenders (with the explained alignment?)

Does anyone have an alignment like this and run pretty flush wheels with that alignment? What are your wheel sizes?

Thanks... I hope I was somewhat clear with my question.

Here is one thread from that I posted in a few days ago with some input on info you are looking for:

There are other threads on the topic with people's experiences if you look for them.

I run -2.4 front with 18x9+37 and 235's (just had them sitting around, switching to 255's soon) Here are the best pics I have showing front fitment after the alignment.

Thats with a 5mm spacer and as you can see there is a decent amount of room left before its flush. I think I can fit 255's on these no problem. Sorry I dont have much info about the tire size you want but hopefully it helps to see fitment near the camber settings you want with wheel specs.

Ahh, thanks... that is exactly what I was looking for. So that picture there is WITH a 5mm spacer? So your offset would be closer to +32?

If that's the case, then I don't think I should have any issue running a 9.5'' wheel with a +37 offset.

Awesome, thanks.

If anyone else runs a similar setup and knows their camber settings, feel free to post up... the more info the better. Even better if you're actually running Enkei RPF01's in 17x9.5 +37!

Oh, and you mentioned you didn't know what tire size I wanted.. I was leaning to a 255/40/17 on all fours.

Almost. I have RPF01's in 18x9.5 +38

Tires are Kumho V710 285/30/18

Camber is only 1.8 degrees. Would get more camber, but need different upper arms to get it.

Fenders are rolled with these tires, ride height is 25" at the fender lip.
