Fitment question (with Pic)

Hey guys,

I have an opportunity to pick up a nice set of Work Emotion Kiwami's at a decent price. I looked through the Maximum Wheel & Tire sticky, but I don't think the fitment ranges necessarily reflect what will accurately fit on the car.

The wheels are 18 X 9.5 with staggered offsets +20 & +30. I'd like to run 235/40 in the front and 265/35 rears.

Now, I found some old pics that s2kguy17 posted when he was running the same wheels in 18X9.5 but with +20 (all around), I just don't know what tire sizes he was running. He hasn't been active on the forum since 2016.

Photos of Work Kiwami: 18 X 9.5 +20 All around. Tire sizes unknown.

So do you guys think this setup would work?
18 X 9.5 +20 with 235/40
18 X 9.5 +30 with 265/35

Additional info:
  • I'm ok with rolling the fenders if I need to, but don't want to pull the fenders.
  • I am on coilovers and can adjust ride height.
  • Car is going to be used for occasional track duty, so alignment needs to be setup for that.

Thanks guys,
T

18x9.5 ET20 REAR will fit with a slight roll.
18x9.5 ET30 FRONT will fit with slight roll and some camber...

Current setup I run is 18x9.5 ET15 275/35 REAR and 18x9.5 ET38 255/35 FRONT. Only the rear needed rolled but it was a pretty substantial roll. NOTE: My 595RS-R Track wheels (275/35) do not clear as they run 1 size larger and act as a 285/35. That being said I think my setup is about as big an offset you can run with a 275/35. Since your ET20 I believe you can stuff a 265 with a slight roll no problem.

I will post some pictures of the fitment before the roll for you to give an idea

Hope this helps

Thanks Mike

That does help a lot!

Two questions for you:
1) Does the rear wheel stick our farther than the rear wheel well?
2) Do you think the camber I would need to run in the front impact the driveability of the car?

Thanks again

I have a pic burried somewhere with how much the rear stuck out from the fender before I rolled it that ill post up for you. And I run camber on all my cars up front at the track, just my preferance...

In the rear, with 265, no camber, and a +20 offset i think a slight roll will be fine. Running a 255 with a little stretch (which I personally dont like) would fit possibly without a roll but thats something i cant attest for.

Thanks Mike - Really appreciate your help on this. I'm going to pull the trigger on the wheels. I'll plan to roll the rear fenders and I think I'll run some 235 or 245's in the front to avoid having to run too much camber.
