FD Brake Caliper Questions
I want to use the FD calipers on my miata, I would like to ditch the stock 1 piston units and replace them with the 4 piston ones.
I already have 11.5 inch rotors and I know that .1 inched less than the FD's but I don't think that will be much of a problem. Next is that the FD rotors are about .1-.3 inches thinker than my rotors. Is this going to be a problem. And lastly does anyone have any pictures of the mounting holes on the calipers? I know im going to have to make some brakets but I need to know if it's going to be too much of a PITA.

One of the dangers of thinner rotors is that the pistons can sieze or even come out if you run the pads too low. Some extra backing plates or even just replacing the pads before they wear down too far should avoid any problems in that area.
