FC wheel/tire question.

OK... Mustang wheels, I have seen a bunch of people using them but i have a question(s).

The wheels i am looking at say they fit 94-05 mustangs. It doesnt have the offsets so i emailed to ask. They are 17X9 on the front and 17X10.5 on the rear. If the fender is taken care of how wide of a tire can i put on the rear? I want as wide as i can on the rear and as skinny as i can on the front.

OR

I may end up going with 15s instead. "Fats and Skinnies so to speak" how wide can i go on the rear if i use 15" rims? 15X12 is what i woudl like but 15X10 if i cant go that wide. What offset would i need for the 15X12? what offset for 15X10? The car isnt going to be street driven much if at all so i am not worried about how far the rears stick out as long as i dont destroy the tires when I launch.

I know the 17"s would probably look a lot better but tires would kill me and i think i would be more limited for tires as well. 15"s i can get tires for all day long pretty cheap even for the 10"-12" wide rims. My main focus is on hooking up as i am running a pretty stout SBF...

15x10 +30 to +35 will fit a 275 wide tire, you may get too much buldge with a drag tire that will rub the triling arm but I'm not sure if that will be a problem or not.

if you search hard enough you can find the offsets to those mustang wheels online and here and there will be forum answers with what works on FCs with stock fenders and with rolled fenders.

offset: 24mm front and 27mm rear. Like i stated before, the fron are 17X9 and the rear are 17X10.5

Will they fit OK with that offset?
