FC front camber increase - milled camber plates
Some of the FC track dogs that run coilovers may not be able to dial in enough negative camber with their camber plates. An easy solution is to elongate the adjustment slots in your camber plates. I had this done this week and just wanted to document the the process. A local machine shop charged me $50 for the work (1 hour of shop time) and turned them around in about 4 hours.
I have not measured the max negative camber yet, but my maximum before was -2 degrees. Now it is close to -3
I marked the plates with a sharpie before I pulled them and told the shop to extend the slots to that point. In my case this ended up being about a 1/2 inch. Every manufacturers camber plate is slighty different so be sure to mark your plates, and make sure there is enough material to support the strut after machining.
