FC alignment printouts - ??
I got my alignment done today and had the lifetime alignment done. So, I can come back as much as I please! Muahahaha.
Ok, so my first question is about the front chamber and caster. The right side is out of adjustment. I know I need to adjust this by turning the strut top. However, which direction do I want to rotate it? Would I go clockwise or counter clockwise a stud hole?
The mechanic really did not want to screw with it at the shop, I didn't have the time, and I would rather do this my self.
Then on the rear what is the best rear chamber position? I have the RB lowering springs so I am guessing that is why it is so out of whack. I am asuming stock is just fine?
What is the cheapest source for an adjustable rear chamber link?
Sorry for the cross post (I posted in the 2nd gen forum) but it was getting about as much traffic as well.....nothing.
Thanks
James

The RX-7 shock absorber's top rubber mounting block is eccentric; by re-positioning it, one can slightly adjust camber and caster. To do this, raise the front of the vehicle and support it with jack stands. Remove the rubber cap on the suspension tower over the shock absorber, and remove the four nuts holding the shock's top mounting block to the suspension tower. The dot indicator is usually pointed toward the inside front of the engine compartment. Turn the mounting block until the dot indicator is pointed to the inside rear of the engine compartment. This will increase caster by 30' to 45', changing it from tire factory setting of 4degrees 40' to about 5degrees 30'.
Ok, I got that from that GRM artical on the 88 TII.
I guess I will just go give it a try. Hell, it seems like you could this with the tire still on. If that is the case. I need to show that mechaic how to do it. lol

get the factory service manual from www.fc3s.org it tells you where to position the dot on the front strut mount. i dont think it changes by 45 though, its all 30 changes.

I found that FSM page it was a big help.
The numbers it uses though 30' and 45'.
How do I relate that to my front camber being -0.7° ?
How does the 30' and 45' fit into that?
