Enkei wheels are nice, I think they make the stock FD wheels. I dont care for the spoke design of those, but I think they are quality. I think I like this brand the best:

It's a pretty good quality wheel and very light.

Standard sizes aren't very FD-friendly, you'd have to get the 17x8.5 +40 front, 17x9.5 +38 rear. I did notice you can special order 17x9 +45 offset, which would be ideal.

Serch around for posts by Cossie, I believe he had 17" versions of the RPF1 on his white FD before going with Volks. They looked alot better than you might think.. pretty good actually, and they are very light, and very inexpensive.

The 17x9 +35 wouldn't be the best choice up front, but you could use the 17x8.5 +40 front, and 17x9.5 +38 in the rear.

Its a really long story, but about 2 weeks ago I accidently sold them to sicminded. I LOVED those, it really makes me sad. Good choice on keeping the FD, its an amazing car.

Actually, the whole car is for sale. Got $30K? Buy it and get the wheels for free.

They have an 8.5 +40, and an 9.5 +38. Those are the ones you want.

At a minimum. Ideally, you would have a +50 offset (stock), but almost no one makes wheels with that high an offset. I run 18x8.5/18x9.5 with a +45 offset.

The offset on the RPF1 wheels / 17 x 9.5's are +38mm and the 8.5's are +40mm

I have these exact sizes on a 91 TII

how about the enkei rp03 type c, those are alot better looking than the ones above. similar styling to fiske profile 5.

and is it possible to run 17 x 9.5 up front with the 38 offset? (provided that you have the feed front fenders that gives you .8" more room)
