Counting the time spent going back and forth to Sears to replace broken tools and to buy correct 1/2" sockets, I think it took me about 7 1/2 hours all together. This is the biggest project I've tackled so far, previously only done oil changes, brake lines and brake bleeding.

Car feels much stiffer now, turns in better, but I need to get it aligned. Anyone know of a good shop in the VA/MD/DC area?

Good job! Don't worry, it's much easier the second time around (as with anything in life).

 

Thanks Mahjik! I now also know when I upgrade my shocks that I'll be able to do that myself too, and I'm sure it'll be a lot easier next time
